Meet the client
Uber Eats was founded in 2014 and started out as a side project on the Uber app where they sold a very limited amount of food during lunch. Now, they are 2nd in the food delivery market and are on a mission to make eating well effortless for everyone, everywhere.
Client Problem
Uber Eats Will Not Be As Essential Post-Quarantine.
Uber Eats customer sign ups have increased 30% in March and will likely keep seeing some type of growth throughout the self-isolation period. We know that growth will not last forever. People will want to leave their homes more regularity when the quarantine is lifted. This will result in less people using Uber Eats.
Objective
Keep Uber Eats' Retention Rate Up Post-Quarantine.
We want to give people (especially those who signed up during quarantine) a reason to still need Uber Eats while also celebrating the fact that we can finally be together.
Target
"The Party-throwers"
Anyone that is eager to throw a post-quarantine party in an efficient and affordable way. Could be professors, coworkers, college students, businessmen, parents etc.
Strategy
Uber Eats redefines the post quarantine party.
It’s time to start embracing this reality and start making adjustments now. Big parties and formal boujee catering is now a thing of the past. It is now time to prioritize small events and gatherings of about 15-30 people.
Insight
Society is desperate for the moment to reunite with others.
This quarantine has made us realize the importance of social interaction and being able to hang out with friends. People are gonna be itching to throw parties and get togethers.
